The FINA World Championships is one of the world’s top events of the Olympic Sports. More than 30 years after hosting the FINA World Championships 1978 in Berlin, the German Swimming Association is now, together with the City of Hamburg, applying for hosting the world championship event again in Germany.
Besides Hamburg, the cities of Moscow and Dubai are also applying for hosting the FINA World Championships in 2013. This website provides information about the bid concept as well as the current status of the German bid.
